Coming into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament, India had most of their angles covered. The biggest talking point was their superlative spin attack which is portraying its class in the ongoing mega-event in England and Wales.
Recently, it’s the former Australian cricketer Mike Hussey who has joined the Indian spin department fan club as the 44-year old showered heaps of praise on Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. The Western Australia born believes that the pitches getting dry will augment the threat of Indian team as he predicted them to play the final of the competition.
“Looking at the Indian team, they are wonderfully balanced unit. They have got all the bases covered well and towards the back end of the tournament as the pitches are going to be dry and more used, the spinners would play a bigger role and that is where India has a massive advantage” Hussey opined as he shared his take on chances of men in blue in the ongoing mega-event in England and Wales.
