Saturday was quite good for the cricket fans in Pakistan as they registered a historic victory over Afghanistan in Leeds, Headingley.
However, more than cricket it was the activities of the Afghan and Pakistan crowd which caught the attention of the media.
There were some lusty quarrels before and after the match between Pakistan & Afghanistan. According to the reports, some of the Afghan fans also assaulted a Pakistani journalist.
The international cricket council has taken notice of the incident and meanwhile, the PCB Chairman has asked for extra security for the players.
Pakistan won the match by 3 wickets courtesy a brilliant innings of 49* by Imad Wasim under pressure. Wahab Riaz also scored 15 very handy runs for Pakistan at the end.
