Former captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, Sana Mir has been an inspiration for young girls in the country as she has shown them the way by becoming a world class cricketer against all odds.
The former number 1 ranked ODI bowler has been included in the first ever National Youth Council (NYC) formed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. Sana would represent the sportswomen from different areas of Pakistan in order to highlight their issues at the higher level.
The council also includes cricketer Hassan Ali along with prominent public figures from different walks of life like Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Samina Baig, Muniba Mazari and others. The council would be headed by the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar.
Sana was delighted on getting named in the NYC as she said that she is looking forward to working for the youth of Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
