MS Dhoni’s approach was yet again questioned by several cricket pundits and enthusiasts as India tasted their first defeat in the ongoing World Cup.
India needed 71 off 5.1 overs when Kedar Jadhav walked in to join MS Dhoni in the middle against England on Sunday. It seemed a difficult task but considering the short boundaries and nature of the pitch, it was surely in the reach.
However, Jadhav and Dhoni played out 7 dots and ran 20 singles in the 31 balls they faced together. Dhoni hit the only six of the Indian innings in the final over when it was game over for India. Following their poor finish and lack of intent, cricket fans brutally trolled and questioned the batting pair for not going hard in the chase.
