The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying hard to revive international cricket back in Pakistan. After the successful hosting of eight matches of season 4 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Karachi, the dream of getting international cricket back on the shores is closer to becoming a reality.
Amidst this backdrop, the PCB has invited board officials from England and Australia to build on positively for bilateral series amongst these nations in Pakistan. PCB chairman Ehsan Mani, in this regard, said that this was one of the board’s priorities to pave the way for future series to be held on home soil.
“I am trying to improve our relationship with other boards. The Chief Executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Chairman and CEO of Cricket Australia (CA) will visit Pakistan after the World Cup. You can tell anyone anything when they are outside but no progress can be made until they come and see it for themselves,” Mani claimed.
