Indian Test cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara has been the most consistent run getter for India in the longer format of late which is why he is now being compared with The Wall, Rahul Dravid.
Pujara plays a similar role in the current Test side which was played by Dravid in the past i.e., getting stuck at the crease and playing big innings. After being consistently compared to Dravid, Pujara has downplayed all comparisons as he feels that he has his own game which is very different from that of the great batsman.
“I do not try to copy him. I have my own game I do not try to copy him. I have my own game Keeping my mind blank helps. I do not overthink. Between deliveries too, I keep my mind blank and it helps me concentrate better,” he said.
