India’s right-arm pacer Jasprit Bumrah is regarded as the world’s premier practitioner of the lethal toe-crushing yorker. Bowling with unparalleled accuracy, the 25-year-old is able to perfectly execute one of the toughest deliveries to bowl with great ease.
Shedding light on his imperious ability to bowl yorkers consistently during death overs, Bumrah mentioned it is a skill he has been able to master after spending hours in the nets.
“I do it again and again and again in the nets. So the more you do it, you get decent at it. You can’t master it,” Bumrah explained. “You are still trying to get better at it, yeah. It’s all about repetition. It’s like any other ball,” he added.
He further stated how he tries to bowl with different balls to get a sense of various match situations, hence testifying the tremendous amount of success he generates whether delivering with the new ball or the old ball.
