For a major part of their cricketing history, India struggled to find reliable pacers. However, the current crop of fast-bowlers seems to portray that their prayers have been answered. Ace of Indian pace battery is Jasprit Bumrah who is continuing to dazzle everyone with his scintillating displays in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament.
Even in the last contest against Bangladesh, the top-ranked ODI bowler showed his prowess to pick 4 crucial wickets which helped India halt Bangladesh’s chase of 314 runs. After the game, the 25-year old took to Twitter to share his excitement as the men in blue qualified for the final-four stage of the competition.
Sharing mantra of India’s success, Bumrah added that his team doesn’t compromise on efforts while staying optimistic. India would dearly like the Ahmedabad born paceman to continue his good run in the ongoing mega-event in England and Wales. Bumrah is confident about India prevailing over their semi-final opponents to enter the final of the championship.
