Indian team is having a dream run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event as the men in blue recently registered their sixth victory of the tournament which installed them in a good position for a top-two finish. In an important game, Indian unit downed Bangladesh by 28-runs to seal their semi-final berth, becoming the second team to do so after defending champions Australia.
While the whole country was celebrating the victory, former Indian wicket-keeper batsman Sanjay Manjrekar decided to highlight the significance of all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The rising sensation produced impressive displays which saw him amassing 187 runs and claiming 8 wickets. These numbers might look small but the time of his contributions has been extremely important.
Sharing an appreciation message on his official Twitter handle, the 53-year old added that one must not forget Pandya’s consequentiality as he improved the balance of the side with his all-round ability. Moreover, the cricketer turned commentator is expecting a strong finish from Pandya as the tournament is moving towards its business end.
