Sarfraz defends underperforming individuals

Skipper of the Pakistan national side, Sarfraz Ahmed has had an interesting couple of weeks in the United Kingdom (UK) so far as he has seen his side beating the tournament favourites and has also lost to a much weaker team like West Indies.

During the pre-match press conference, Sarfraz came out in support of his underperforming players who have not been up to the mark at a stage which demanded consistency and patience from them.

The skipper said that Hasan Ali and Fakhar Zaman have been the unluckiest people in the dressing room as things have not gone their way even though they had put in a lot of hard work into each game they have played.

However, the wicket-keeper batsman expressed pride in leading the national side of Pakistan in a tournament which has seen some exciting cricket from the players.
