The Pakistan U19 team has won the 7th and final ODI against South Africa by 7 wickets after a comprehensive performance with the ball in Durban. Haris Khan was the star performer for Pakistan as he not only took 2 vital wickets but also scored an unbeaten 69.
The green shirts completed the clean sweep against the hosts after coming off a successful tour of Sri Lanka last month. A couple of youngsters showed great skills and commitment throughout the series.
Ali Tareen, co-owner of the Multan Sultans, congratulated the U19 team on its success in South Africa and he also invited the whole team to train at the Tareen Academy in Multan as the players would receive coaching from world class coaches there.
He said that the young players could learn a lot from mentors like former South African skipper Lance Klusener who grooms the power hitting ability of batsmen while Ian Pont would also be available to help pacers with their pace.
