Pakistan got knocked out of the World Cup 2019 after they finished behind New Zealand on the points table just because of a poor net run-rate.
However, there was still a chance for Pakistan to sneak into the semi-finals if some of the other results would have gone in their favour. One of them was a game between India and England where Pakistan were rooting for the Virat Kohli-led side's victory but unfortunately it didn't happen.
With the desired result not going in their favour, majority of the fans blamed India for losing intentionally to hurt Pakistan's chances of progressing.
But skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has dismissed this notion of India losing to England on purpose. "No, no, it is not right to say this. I don't think India lost because of us. England played well to win,"Sarfaraz told reporters after he returned home from UK.
