Pakistan’s batting maverick, Babar Azam announced himself big at the international stage with his prolific performances against some of the top sides during the ongoing ICC World Cup. The right-handed batsman ended up as Pakistan’s highest run-scorer at the World Cup.

Speaking on this historic achievement, the talented batsman said it provided him great pleasure. “As a batsman, its a great achievement for me. Standing strong in the list of best batsmen in the world is such a pleasure for me,” he stated.
Babar also put weight on Pakistan’s World Cup performance and spoke against pundits for unnecessary criticism only when the team loses.
