Match Tied (Royal Challengers Bangalore win one-over eliminator)
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has had an interesting last week with the national side as he has been involved in some off-field spats with a former Indian cricketer while giving match defining performances on the field.
The ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer played a major role in taking India close to the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as he changed the whole complexion of the game with his intent as soon as he joined MS Dhoni at the crease at a score of 6 for 92.
The left-hander scored 77 off just 59 balls as he nearly chased the total down with 4 boundaries and as many sixes. Jadeja’s 116 run stand with MS Dhoni brought India back in the game after they had lost half of the batting lineup within 30 overs.
The entire cricket fraternity empathized with Jadeja for playing the innings of his career and yet failing to get India home with just a couple of overs to go.
