The people of Pakistan have been deprived of regular international cricket for the longest of times, but things have started to get better as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been trying to convince all boards to visit the country for bilateral tours.
The tours of Sri Lanka and West Indies in the last couple of years were a great achievement of the PCB and people are now hoping to see more international cricketers playing on the home soil of team Pakistan.
According to media reports, the Sri Lankan cricket team would tour Pakistan for one Test match during the September-October tour. The Sri Lankan board is allegedly ready to play a Test match in Lahore, the same place which closed the doors of international cricket on Pakistan.
Moreover, reports also state that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has agreed to send its security inspector to Pakistan so that he could analyze the situation in the country before the Bengal Tigers could agree to play 2 Test matches in Pakistan next year.
