Pakistan’s right-handed batsman, Khurram Manzoor has lashed out at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ignoring the talented Pakistani players who have been performing constantly in the domestic cricket circuit.
He said that cricket is the only option for the domestic players to earn their livelihood and such treatment by the PCB towards them, disappoint them too much. He believes that he has been one of the top performers at the domestic level for the last three to four years but didn’t get any reward from the PCB.
“It is such a disappointment that despite performing, again and again, you are not in the national team. Our families also ask questions and we do not have any answer,” Manzoor said. The 33-year-old believes that the cricket board should include domestic cricketers in their central contract to support them financially.
