Twitterati not happy with the “boundary rule” of the super over

The cricket world witnessed the first ever super over in the ODI cricket and that too in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The game shifted from one side to the other on almost every delivery in the final between New Zealand and England. But it all came down to the boundary difference which decided England as the winner of the World Cup 2019.

Twitterati was not happy with the rule of the boundaries which decided England as the winner after both the match and super over were tied. They questioned ICC rules and felt disgusted over it.

A team who fought so valiantly was deprived of a world cup trophy just because of trivial difference between the two sides. Many former players also criticised ICC for this rule and demanded to take this into notice in the near future.
