Duminy to play for Rajshahi Kings in BPL

Having retired from international cricket during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament, South African all-rounder Jean-Paul Duminy is all set to ply his trade in the forthcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) which is due to commence in next few months.

The Cape town born has been added to the squad of Rajshahi Kings where he is anticipated to add value with his all-round skills. Management of Kings is delighted to have acquired the services of an extremely good player who is particularly known for his ability to play spin well.

With the end of his national team commitments, Duminy is set to be witnessed playing in many franchise-based T20 tournaments. It is important to note that this would be the maiden appearance of the proficient cricketer in Bangladesh’s T20 frenzy.

Carrying an experience of over 250 T20 games, the 35-year-old has amassed 6106 T20 runs by smashing 41 half-centuries. Moreover, his handy bowling skills are always considered a plus in the shortest format of the game.
