The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been trying to improve the cricket infrastructure in the country with the sole purpose of spreading the game to parts of the country which have lacked facilities over the years.
The board is also planning to hold the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) entirely in Pakistan. Rawalpindi and Multan are being considered as the other 2 venues alongside Karachi and Lahore.
Moreover, the PCB has decided to send a team of high-end officials to Quetta next week so that they could evaluate the commercial opportunities in the region along with devising a plan to start the renovations of the Bugti Stadium in Quetta.
The PCB plans to develop the surroundings of the stadium in order to attract the local youth and promote the sports culture among kids of adjoining areas through commercialization.
