The Australian cricket team is currently in England preparing for the all-important Ashes series against arch rivals at their home. The squad would be announced in the coming days as a total of 25 players are currently competing against each other for the Ashes spots.
Four wicket-keeper batsmen including Tim Paine, Alex Carey, Matthew Wade and Peter Handscomb are currently in England which has never happened before. When asked about it by the media, Test skipper Tim Paine left everyone in splits by saying that the team is blessed to have good-looking wicket keepers around as they make group pictures better with their looks.
“The more keepers, the better. When you’ve got five or six of us here, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, the training intensity has been outstanding, the laughter, the energy has been great. Traditionally, we add to the team photos as well with our looks. The boys are blessed to have so many good-looking wicket-keepers around them,” he said.
