The International Cricket Council (ICC) has been put under a lot pressure in recent times as a couple of rules of the game have stirred massive controversies. The issue of no-balls has been the most discussed issue among fans as a couple of bowlers have gotten away with bowling front-foot no-balls even with the luxury of having TV replays.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally approved the request of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to test the no-ball monitoring at the domestic level before using it in international games.
According to the proposal, TV umpires would monitor the front foot of bowlers on all deliveries so that they could immediately notify the field umpires in case of a mistake. This would help the batsmen eventually as umpires often miss a couple of front foot violations every now and then.
