With the seventh edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) not being far away, a lot of developments have emerged regarding the transfer and signing of players. In the scheme of things, Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has been roped in by Comilla Victorians for the ensuing season of Bangladesh’s T20 frenzy.
The senior pro played for Chittagong Vikings in the last edition of the tournament where he provided solid performances to take his team to the final-four stage of the competition. Mustering 426 runs across 13 games, the 32-year old batsman proved to be the second highest run-getter in that edition.
Even in the recently concluded World Cup in England and Wales, Mushfiqur Rahim was found in great form which saw him scoring 365 runs from 8 games. All this comes as a massive good news as the strength of the side is clearly getting augmented. For the upcoming edition which is scheduled to take place in December, Victorians are eager to emulate their last season success and bag their third BPL title.
