Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi is undoubtedly one of the most adored cricketers who remains a fan favourite even after his retirement. However, he lately has been criticized for some of his actions since he mentioned those in his released autobiography.
Despite his high levels of popularity, actor Kashif Mehmood has criticized Afridi for being made a national hero which ultimately led to the downfall of Pakistan cricket. In a video message, Mahmood ripped apart Afridi and called him not worthy of hero-worship.
He further went on to say that Afridi’s 37-ball hundred did not help Pakistan cricket but butchered it since young players want to play aggressive cricket like the star all-rounder and aren’t focusing on being technically sound players.
