Bangladesh Under 19s won by 9 wickets (DLS Method)
Ireland’s Tim Murtagh was in the headlines on Wednesday morning for all the right reasons as he went through the batting line-up of England with some impeccable swing bowling upfront.
Murtagh registered a 5-wicket haul against England and at the age of 37 years he will have his name on the prestigious honors board of the Lord’s cricket stadium.
Interestingly, the last man to register his name on the honors board was Pakistan’s teenage pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi who took 6 wickets against Bangladesh to register his name on the honors board at the age of just 19.
Statsguru Mazhar Arshad shared this interesting fact on his twitter handle where he revealed the massive age difference between the last and the recent name on the Lord’s honors board.
