Australian power hitter Chris Lynn has earned a fearsome reputation of being a destructive player with the bat. Unleashing blistering performances in different T20 leagues around the world, Lynn boasts a habit of launching huge maximums as he has a steep strike rate of 141.96.
Bossing the shortest format, Lynn has now set his sights on securing a place in the national squad for the 2020 T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. While Lynn is yet to replicate a similar level of success in international cricket, he is all charged up to make a mark in the mega-event next year.
“It is a priority, it is a goal to play the 2020 T20 World Cup. I’d love to be a part of it. I hit the ball well in the IPL, which was my last tournament, and I’m looking to build on that over the next couple of tournaments. Try and dominate the Big Bash like I did a couple of years ago,” he said.
