The English cricket team has not had much success with the fast bowling unit which was selected for the Ireland Test. The selectors are expected to persist with the usual set of bowlers for the upcoming Ashes as they do not have much options left.
Fast bowler Jofra Archer, who has become an overnight star for England after defending the score in the super over of the recent World Cup final, has successfully passed the fitness test which was intended to adjudge his first-class fitness.
Meanwhile, Archer would also take part in domestic cricket by playing the upcoming game for Success Cricket County (SCC) in order to stay game fit before the big game at Edgbaston next week.
With his pace, bounce, and swing, Archer could prove to be a lethal weapon with the red ball especially in overcast conditions as he gave a sneak peak of what he could do with the ball in the World Cup this year.
