With the Vitality T20 blast going in full flow, the Pakistani flair is about to get further swelled. Nottinghamshire are looking good to sign Pakistan’s all-rounder Imad Wasim. As per reports, Imad and club have reached an agreement, but the deal is yet to be inked.
The signing is likely to happen for the complete tournament with an exception of two games which he’ll have to miss for his wedding. Knowing his three-dimensional skills, the skillful all-rounder is expected to add immense value to Nottinghamshire’s campaign in the ongoing T20 frenzy.
Playing 146 T20 games, the Wales born has managed a combination of 129 wickets and 1309 runs. His batting strike-rate of 123.72 and bowling economy being less than 6.3 speaks volume of the ability and talent he carries for the shortest format of the game. Moreover, his performances and experiences in the recently concluded World Cup in England and Wales would help him perform to the best of his abilities.
