ICC Chairman accused of taking money from Dhoni’s company

Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chairman Shashank Manohar has found himself in another controversy after he was named in the Supreme Court verdict on the Amrapali Group sham transactions case.

According to the court, Manohar was paid INR 36 lakh from the money received from home buyers of Amrapali Group which comes under the misuse of funds in legal terms and the company must justify those transactions in order to avoid any remifications.

MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni have business interest in Amrapali Mahi Developers as the latter is also the director of the company which has started speculations regarding the transfer of money between Manohar and Dhoni’s companies and the purpose of those payments.
