Shoaib Akhtar mourns Balochistan’s terrorist attack

As it has been the case with Pakistan, once again the country witnessed a tragic incident as terrorists opened fire on Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan troops. The incident which took place near Pak-Afghan border martyred at least ten personnel including an FC officer.

Whole country went into a state of shock and former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar was no exception as the speedster shared his views on his official Twitter handle. The 43-year old cricketer mourned the loss of valuable lives while paying tribute to the brave soldiers of Pakistan.

Shoaib extended his condolences to the families of the lost soldiers as he prayed for them. Moreover, the Rawalpindi born lauded the courage of armed forces of Pakistan as he is confident about them eliminating the evil of terrorism.

Along with other departments, even cricket of the country suffered from terrorism as the territory remains deprived of proper International cricket since 2009. Despite the completion of 10 years to this tragedy, teams are still not convinced to visit Pakistan.
