Pakistan Super League (PSL) is continuing to restore smiles on the faces of fans of the country. This time, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to promote cricket in Balochistan by giving it representation at a top level.
As per PCB Managing Director (MD) Wasim Khan, famous Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium is going to get renovated. Moreover, he hinted that the forthcoming season of Pakistan’s darling T20 league could witness Quetta hosting few games. Apart from that, solid infrastructure would be provided across the province to boost both sporting and commercial activities.
The 48-year old promised that governing body of Pakistan Cricket will give its all to bring Quetta’s cricket at par with other cities. Last year’s triumph of Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League (PSL) also revitalized cricket in the province as a special victory lifted the hearts of Quetta fans. With next edition of Pakistan’s biggest T20 festival promising to become bigger and better, it remains to be seen if PCB delivers on their promises or not.
