Aussie pacer Peter Siddle has been included in the 17-member Ashes squad as he would accompany Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, James Pattinson, and Nathan Lyon in the bowling department.
The experienced fast bowler has become a regular feature of the national side after being away for a couple of years. Siddle believes that he could play a major part in the team’s cause in this year’s Ashes as he has learned some new things since his past outings in England.
“That's the best thing I bring to this team. I know I have done well, I've got a pretty good record in Test cricket, in Ashes Test matches in England but my experience over the last couple of years - I've learned a lot, learned a lot of new skills and the way to go about it - I think I can play a big part throughout this series. We're a lot more aware of the setup and the team dynamics that we need to win a series in England,” he said.
