Upcoming stars of Pakistan’s domestic circuit

There are two guys who can make it to the international team of Pakistan anytime in the future. With Misbah and Younis Khan retired from the longest format, there are chances of seeing some new faces in the upcoming years.

Iftikhar Ahmed, who last played for Pakistan in 2016 against England is currently scoring heaps of runs in domestic cricket. He’s certainly one of the two players to look out for in the future.

The other guy is Saud Shakeel who played for Pakistan U-19 in the 2014 World Cup. Saud played for PTV in the last domestic season and starred with the bat for them throughout the season.

Iftikhar averages above 50 in his List A career whilst the 23-year old Saud Shakeel averages 49 in his List A career. Both the players have been in amazing form recently and they can certainly break into the Test or ODI side of Pakistan in the near future.
