Fast bowling would be under focus once again in the Ashes this year as pacers from both the sides would look to exploit the overcast English conditions in order to gain advantage over the other.
Former Australian fast bowling legend Glenn McGrath has termed James Anderson as the most important bowler for England in this year’s Ashes as he believes that the experienced pacer would find a way to get under the nerves of opposition batsmen at his home.
“On home soil with the Dukes ball, he's the best in the world bowling in those conditions. He is a big player and if he has a big series for England, Australia will find it tough. If Australia bat well and can get on top of him, that'll make a massive impact on their chances,” he said.
