Appointments and removals in Pakistan Cricket have never been an easy task as it continues to serve as a red hot topic of the country. Recently, former Pakistan Test cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz has decided to raise his voice against what he calls ‘a recruitment drive of tainted persons’.
Sharing his views, the 70-year old blasted at Pakistan Cricket Board as he believes that the valuable positions are being captured by people who had controversial careers. In this regard, Sarfraz has urged the former captain and current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to look into the matter before things get out of control.
Highlighting the names of players like Moin Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Wasim Akram, the Pakistani pioneer of reverse swing added that the aforementioned cricketers should be removed to steady the sinking ship of PCB. Moreover, the Lahore born advocated for the local coaches as he argued that the country is filled with a number of greats who can take the national team towards the right direction.
