No Indian representation in ICC Elite Panel of Umpires

Indian umpire Sundaram Ravi has been excluded from the International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite Panel of Umpires for the cricket season 2019-2020. This means there is no Indian representation in the elite list, which includes a total of 12 umpires.

S Ravi and the retiring Ian Gould have now been replaced by England’s Michael Gough and Joel Wilson from West Indies.

The choices were made by a selection panel consisting of ICC General Manager Geoff Allardice, former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar and match referees Ranjan Madugalle and David Boon.

The panel now includes Gough, Wilson, Aleem Dar, Kumar Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, Chris Gaffaney, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Nigel Llong, Bruce Oxenford, Paul Reiffel and Rod Tucker.
