Making a comeback after nursing an injury, Bangladesh’s pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman is finding himself among wickets. However, a major concern is his bowling economy which isn’t presenting a laudable picture. In the ongoing year, Fizz has picked 34 wickets in 16 games, but his bowling economy revolves around 6.8.
For this reason, Bangladesh pace bowling coach and former cricketer Khaled Mahmud shared bowling advice for the 23-year-old cricketer.
The 48-year-old opined that Mustafizur Rahman needs to push his length a bit full which would help him deceive the batters. In addition, he urged him to improve his skills regarding inswing.
“Mustafiz used to bowl slower higher up the pitch, but now he is bowling at the back of the length. That is why batters get time to adjust and they hit the ball comfortably. In addition to that, he has to learn the art of getting the ball back into the batsman,” said the Dhaka born as he advised Mustafizur to bowl a bit fuller with his variations.
