PCB's plan to acclimatize batsmen to England and Australia conditions

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Managing Director, Wasim Khan is determined to make PCB as one of the finest cricket boards in the world. Wasim has reiterated his commitment to uplift the standard of Pakistan cricket.

During a recent interview, Wasim said they are also considering sending their top batsmen to Australia and England weeks before the commencement of the series to help them familiarize with the overseas conditions better.

“We get caught short when we tour Australia. To address it we are sending our batsmen earlier to Australia to prepare for the series. We are planning 12 months ahead of our tours,” he revealed.

He further stated that for the England series, PCB will ask the county clubs to sign up Pakistani players on a subsidy and that fee will be provided by the PCB itself as an investment in the promising players.
