Australia’s front-line seam bowler Patrick Cummins once again proves that why he is the number one Test bowler in the World. Pace and swing did the job for the 26-years old fast bowler, as he ripped apart England’s batting line-up.
Australia played the 1st Test without Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, their main spearheads. But Cummins did not let Australia miss them as he did the job along with Nathan Lyon. Cummins picked up 7 wickets in the match.
He now averages just 21.63 in the 21 Test matches he played. He has picked 101 Test wickets in his journey so far and he is unstoppable. Pat Cummins had a phenomenal Test series against India and Sri Lanka in the latter half of 2018.
He has continued his form into the Test arena after a good campaign in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Australia now heavily rely on him to provide them with breakthroughs when required.
