Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has announced to step down as President of Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) and has instead urged the association to appoint former president Saleem Karim as the new President.
Latif served in the leadership capacity for a while but has now decided to relinquish his duties due to travelling issues involved in continuing with the job. Latif claimed he now lives in Islamabad, which does not allow him enough time to look after the affairs of the association.
He said he does not feel good to keep holding the job for the sake of the office. Latif also shared his concerns regarding the declining importance given to the association and sidelining the pioneer of disabled cricket in Pakistan, Mr. Saleem Karim.
