Peshawar Zalmi Chairman, Javed Afridi has recently hinted at Peshawar hosting three games of the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL). Peshawar Zalmi, which is the most successful franchise, stamped its superiority this year too as it emerged as the country’s biggest sports entity in terms of brand value at $40.5 million.
Talking to Cricingif, Mr. Javed Afridi stated that the city of flowers “Peshawar” will have three games to host in the upcoming PSL tournament. Earlier, only Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan were reported as the venues for the HBL PSL matches in Pakistan.
Recently, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister, Atif Khan paid a surprise visit to Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium and inspected the ongoing reconstructing work to make it according to international need with all facilities costing Rs 1.39 billion.
