PCB to monitor Sharjeel's rehab program

Tainted Pakistani cricketer, Sharjeel Khan has written a letter to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) giving his consent to participate in the PCB rehabilitation program. The ban on Sharjeel Khan will end on August 11, 2019, after which he would be required to undergo the PCB's rehabilitation program to enable him to resume his cricketing career.

While participating in the PCB’s rehabilitation program, Sharjeel will have to accept his role in the spot-fixing case and publically admit his mistake. He will also have to participate in the anti-corruption lectures to young cricketers.

Sharjeel was banned for two and a half years for his involvement in spot-fixing during the second edition of PSL. After trials and marathon hearings, he was found guilty of fixing and was banned along with Khalid Latif.
