Former India skipper Rahul Dravid has received a notice from the BCCI Ethics Officer DK Jain after the latter was sent a complaint from the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) life member Sanjeev Gupta. Dravid thus joins the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman who have been earlier the subject of such notices.

A senior BCCI official confirmed the development and stated that Dravid’s position as the National Cricket Academy Director and currently employed as the vice-president of India Cements group that owns IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings is conflicting.

“Yes, Dravid had been sent a notice by Jain last week and has two weeks to reply to the notice,” the official revealed as the matter is being decided.
