The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying its best to convince cricket boards to send their teams to Pakistan this year as the return of cricket is being deemed as inevitable for the progress of Pakistan cricket.
The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) security assessment team recently met with the security officials in Karachi as they assessed the security plans and arrangements at the National Stadium Karachi (NSK). The security team was satisfied with everything that was shown to them as they also assured of positive outcomes of their assessment.
Even though there has not been any official announcement yet, a couple of sources in the Sri Lankan media have revealed that the SLC is planning to play the whole Test series in Pakistan this year after a positive response from the security team. According to them, the first Test would be played in Karachi while the second game would be hosted by Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on October 9th.
