Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been the talk of the town ever since his arrival at the international stage as he has impressed some of the greats of the game with his unique style of play and intent.
The youngster played a match-winning knock of 65 in the final T20I against West Indies recently as he shut down all critics who doubted his ability to play longer innings. After the game, skipper Virat Kohli heaped immense praise on Pant as he said that he would continue to invest in Pant as he believes in his skill and talent.
“We are looking at him as the future. He has got a lot of skill and a lot of talent. It is about giving him some space and not putting too much of pressure. He's come a long way since he's started. It's about winning and finishing games like these. In international cricket, you need to tackle pressure differently. If he plays like this regularly, we will see his potential shine for India,” he said.
