The New Zealand cricket team is currently in Sri Lanka preparing for the full fledge series against the hosts. This would the first outing of the Black Caps after the heartbreaking defeat in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against England.
Pacer Tim Southee has revealed that the New Zealand team is still not over the final loss against England as the game is still discussed in dressing room.
“There are still conversations about what happened in England and also about what we were able to achieve as a group in those eight weeks. here's a lot of frustration and other emotions that come to mind. But when we dig deep, we are very proud of the way we represented New Zealand,” he said.
However, Southee is looking forward to the Sri Lanka tour as he feels that his team is in a good position to put up dominant performances in the all formats.
