Young Indian batting sensation Shubman Gill has been the talk of the town ever since his heroics in the ICC U19 World Cup last year as he became the player of the tournament after scoring 372 runs at an average of 124.
Gill recently became the youngest Indian batsman ever to score a double hundred for a representative team as he smashed an unbeaten 204 for India A in the 3rd unofficial Test against the West Indies A.
Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was delighted on the performance of the youngster in Trinidad. He applauded Gill on scoring a brilliant double hundred while he also said that its time for the 19-year-old to play Test cricket for India as he has proved his mettle in recent times.
Gill broke the record of former Indian opener Gautham Gambhir who had scored a double hundred at the age of 20 years 124 days.
