2019 has been a gloomy year for the cricket fans as a lot of their star players have announced their retirements in the ongoing year. Many of them retired after playing their last world cup, while few announced their retirements from outside the circuit.
From India, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Ambati Rayudu were the ones who said good-bye to the International cricket. Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, were the Proteas players who announced their retirements.
Shoaib Malik from Pakistan, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara from Sri Lanka bid farewell to the game. On the other hand, Mohammad Amir and Dale Steyn announced their retirement from Test cricket and Brendon McCullum said good-bye to the league cricket.
