England announces their 12-man squad for the 2nd Ashes Test

After England was knocked down by the Australian cricket team at the Edgbaston in the 1st Ashes Test, the home team is looking to make a strong comeback in the 2nd Test at Lord's.

England has announced their 12-man squad for the 2nd Test match commencing from 14th August 2019. Jofra Archer has been added in the squad in order to replace the injured James Anderson.

On the other hand, out of form all-rounder Moeen Ali has also been dropped from the side and Jack Leach has been added to the side. Hailing from Somerset, Jack Leach will offer slow-left arm spin option for England.

Sam Curran, the young all-rounder has also made it to England’s squad for the next Test match. England will be eyeing a win at the home of cricket and level the series with the mighty Aussies.
