Pakistan Super League (PSL) continuous to enjoy a massive support not just from Pakistan, but from all the cricketing fraternity. The last edition of the tournament made many viewership records as a total of 8 games including the play-offs were played on the home soil of Pakistan. Like other seasons, PSL 2019 gave us a number of enthralling moments. Let us look at the top five of them:

Last Ball Six by David Wiese

In an epic thriller played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans at Sharjah, it all came down to Lahore needing 3 of the last ball. While odds looked in favor of Multan with AB de Villiers not on strike, all-rounder David Wiese struck a fantastic six to seal a special victory for Qalandars.

Usman Shinwari’s Last Over Heroics

Karachi Kings pacer Usman Shinwari’s stunning over would go down as one of the best memories of PSL 2019 as the exuberant quick defended 5 runs of the last over to keep his team alive in the T20 carnival of Pakistan. Dismissing Ahmed Shehzad, Anwar Ali and Sarfaraz Ahmed, Usman helped Karachi defeat Quetta by 1 run.

Misbah-ul-Haq’s Half-Century against Lahore

In the 25th game of PSL 2019, Peshawar Zalmi was rescued by former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq as Lahore Qalandars looked good to seal the contest. The 44-year old produced a sensational batting display which saw him mustering unbeaten 59 runs to aid Zalmi maintain their sublime record against Qalandars.

Colin Ingram’s Sublime Century

Becoming the first overseas centurion of the history of Pakistan’s T20 frenzy, Colin Ingram recorded a laudable batting display to help Karachi return to winning track against Quetta Gladiators. A fiery 127 not out saw Ingram smashing Quetta’s bowlers to all the parts of the ground.

Mohammad Sami’s Hattrick

Islamabad United’s veteran paceman Mohammad Sami is one of the shining stars of the history of Pakistan’s domestic gala. To provide another display of his sublime prowess, the 38-year old cricketer took a hattrick in a nervy over against Peshawar. Despite starting the over badly with a 6, Sami came back to dismiss Wahab Riaz, Umaid Asif and Hasan Ali to register a sensational victory for his franchise.
