The game of cricket has some rich history dating back to the 1800s as it was initially played between the founding nation, England, and Australia. This is why both the countries have been pioneers of the sports till date.
Former English cricketer W. G. Grace is said to be one of the greatest ever players as he not only represented the national side, but he also played a big role in the development of cricket in its early days.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has honored the cricketer by placing his statue at the Lord’s Cricket Ground which often attracts the visitors.
A video recently went viral on social media in which a kid bowled a leg-spinner towards the statue which is about to play a shot. The ball hit the bat and went into the air from where it was eventually caught by someone who was passing by.
The video made rounds on different platforms and was eventually shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as well as fans were finding it quite amusing.
